Ogilvie Fleet is proud to be launching its “Safer Journeys” campaign, a new road safety initiative that’s designed to promote safer driving behaviours and support local communities, helping reduce risk among drivers across the UK.
The initiative brings together a range of activities and resources aimed at encouraging greater awareness of road safety, while supporting the work of road safety charity Brake.
The launch comes as road safety continues to be a major concern for employers and drivers alike. While road deaths were down 4.6% in 2025, 31,040 people were killed or seriously injured on UK roads, with one in four road deaths and a fifth of serious injuries involving someone driving for work.
Serious injuries increased year-on-year by 4.3%, and Brake highlighted that overall there has been no significant reduction in the number of people killed or injured on UK roads in the last decade.

As part of its ongoing commitment to safer roads, Ogilvie has now launched a Driver Pledge campaign, which will run throughout the winter. It encourages motorists to commit to safer driving behaviours, such as regular vehicle checks, distraction-free driving, take breaks when needed, and to look out for vulnerable road users. For the first 1,000 pledges, Ogilvie will donate £1 to Brake.
Ogilvie is providing high-vis vests to selected schools in Stirling and Sheffield. The locations reflect the company’s strong ties to both communities, with the Ogilvie Group headquartered in Stirling and Ogilvie Fleet’s operations in England centred in Sheffield, helping to extend road safety awareness among local children and families.
It will also provide customers with dedicated road safety resources, including posters, windscreen stickers and other materials that can be used across fleet vehicles and in workplaces.
Ashley Crookes, Sales and Marketing Director said of the campaign: “As a business that works with thousands of drivers and fleet operators across the UK, we have a responsibility to help promote safer behaviours behind the wheel every day. Whether that’s through education, supporting local communities or raising funds for Brake, we will continue to play our part in creating safer roads for everyone.”
